Verification and Validation Reporting

We are able to ensure that works on site are verified against the agreed design and that validation testing is undertaken to confirm compliance with soil quality targets.

The verification and validation works would cover both remediation and duty of care for any waste soils transferred off-site.

Where a MMP was used, the verification report will be registered with CL:AIRE in addition to any regulatory authority's that need to discharge planning conditions.

Permitting and Soil Treatment

Should the solution require the treatment of soil with hydrocarbons, asbestos, metals or other contaminants to achieve the best overall outcome, we can issue a mobile treatment license and provide technical support for implementing soil treatment on site given our specialist experience over four decades and millions of tonnes of contaminated soil treatment. If disposal is the only option, we are able to provide compliant solutions for off-site treatment or disposal where required.

We also provide specialist permitting support to obtain deposit for recovery permits where materials are fully recovered and reused in situations where a MMP would be inappropriate. We are able to provide all COTC cover for our permitted projects.

Remediation Design and Materials Management Plans

In order to minimise cost and design the most cost effective solution we will undertake any refinements to the remediation design required for planning consent in accordance with LCRM.

We are able to create a Materials Management Plan (MMP) in accordance with DoW CoP (CL:AIRE) to ensure that any waste soil is minimised and cost certainty is provided.

We can provide site support to ensure that any third parties undertaking the works on site are compliant with the requirements with the MMP.

Waste Soils Assessment

The site investigation reports available for the site are initially assessed and a preliminary waste assessment undertaken for any surplus to achieve the formation level or land quality objectives. If additional testing would reduce produce cost savings then we will provide a quote for rapid testing or fixed laboratory testing depending on the most appropriate method to meet the project aims. Once the results of the analysis are available we will issue a report highlighting the composition of surplus soils and the options for reuse or off-site management within the project's requirements.
